Dr Osborne will explore the history of race, education, and social justice in Britain through the work of activists, scholars and educators. Britain has its own black intellectual traditions, exemplified through Olaudah Equiano, CLR James, Claudia Jones, Darcus Howe, Len Garrison and others.
This presentation will also explore how these activists have shaped political and educ y from the 18th century to the present.
